Best Eating Places in Ocean City

Often guest may ask for a good recommendation for a restaurant or dinner location. Everyone has their favorite place eat so why keep it a secret. This blog is a perfect place for everyone to share their favorite place to eat.

Our family has several favorites’ places to go when in Ocean City, NJ. On the boardwalk it is Manco and Manco Pizza sure my family’s favorite my 12 year old can sit and eat three to four slices of pizza on his own. This hand toss pizza with loads of sauce and cheese is just mouthwatering. With their new location in the old Strand Theater on 9th street there is always room or if you like eating at the Legacy delivery is free without a long wait. This restaurant is a perfect place to eat.

If you’re looking for Italian to go you must go to Voltaco’s Italian Foods located at 957 West Ave, Ocean City, NJ 08226. This carryout restaurant has the best cheese steaks and Italian specialties. The spaghetti and meatball is a family favorite the sauce is the best with homemade meatballs. The portions are made for are large enough to share with another. If you cannot find what you want on their menu. Call them they will try to make it for you. This restaurant is a must try in Ocean City.

If you are willing to travel off the island I recommend Charlies located at 800 Shore Road-Somers Point a setting just like Cheer’s. USA. This is a bar restaurant which is a good family location for dinner. This is definitely a local’s favorite. Great prices and good food, you cannot beat this restaurant. The burgers are wonderful but they still serve awesome wings & provide a full range of American cuisine from seafood, to prime rib to southwestern. This is a cash only location but a great one to visit.
